Akarteks Tekstil is an Istanbul-headquartered denim and woven ready-to-wear manufacturer operating since 1985, with 2,000+ employees across roughly 60,000 m2 of closed area in six production facilities - a head office and plant in Arnavutkoy, Istanbul plus five units in the Kelkit OSB at Erbaa, Tokat, including a waterless washing laundry. The vertically organised operation covers pattern making, cutting, laser and ozone finishing, washing, embroidery, sewing and packing, and states annual capacity above 5 million units. Output is denim jeans, five-pocket bottoms, woven trousers, shirts, jackets, skirts and dresses for German, UK, Italian, Dutch, Spanish, French, Austrian and Swedish buyers.
