AKBULUT TEKSTİL TİCARET VE SANAYİ ANONİM ŞİRKETİ is a cut-and-sew garment manufacturer founded in 1996 at Osmangazi Mah., Hadımköy Yolu Cad. No:70 in Esenyurt, İstanbul, and forms the apparel arm of the Akbulut Grubu, a textile group trading since 1981 across roughly 52,000 m² and also holding interests in energy, real-estate investment and agriculture. Its sister operations cover the upstream chain — Ortadoğu Tekstil in fabric and yarn trading, Global Denim in denim fabric supply from a 40,000 m² Esenyurt site, and BJ Tekstil running a 12,000 m² Malatya garment plant — with Odtex UK as the group's overseas arm. The company is under statutory administration: a court appointed a kayyum on 28 July 2016 and management passed to the TMSF, which subsequently packaged the business as the 'Akbulut Tekstil Ticari ve İktisadi Bütünlüğü' and put it to auction with a reserve of 102 million TRY, tendered in June and again on 27 September 2023. Its own website remains online but publishes only group-level corporate prose — there is no catalogue, product page or product imagery of any kind. Buyers should treat the ownership and continuity position as unresolved and verify the entity's current control before contracting.
