Akden Giyim San. ve Tic. Ltd. Sti., trading as Akden Textile, is a knitwear manufacturer founded in 2009 at Mahmutbey Mah. Halkali Cad. No:122 in Bagcilar, Istanbul. The company produces knitted upper and lower garments - t-shirts, polos, sweatshirts, pullovers and knitted bottoms - for men, women, children and babies, working mainly on a fason (contract/CMT) and private-label basis. Its own site reports more than 100 employees, a 2,000 m2 field area and an in-house sampling room turning out about 500 pieces a month; the English and Turkish renders of the same page disagree on monthly capacity (150,000 versus 100,000 units), so neither figure is asserted as fact. Akden is a dues-clear member of IHKIB and its published customer strip names Turkish and European high-street accounts.
