Artun Tekstil San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti., exporting as Artun Textile, is a Merter (Güngören, İstanbul) apparel maker that turned to export in 1992 on the back of what the company describes as 33 years of prior textile experience, with its factory-tour pages citing 52 years of sewing know-how. It operates roughly 2,000 m² with about 50 in-house staff and a network of some 250 outsourced workers, and reports capacity of around 350,000 units per month. The plant is organised as a documented make-through tour: R&D and design, a model shop (modelhane), fabric knitting and dyeing, cutting, printing and embroidery, sewing, quality control, then ironing and packing, with a showroom for collection presentation. Product focus is women's, men's and children's outerwear — jackets, coats, suits and co-ord sets — plus trousers, skirts and knit sweatshirts. Quality control is applied both in-house and at the external workshops the company subcontracts to. Its reference list is heavily French and Spanish high-street (Kiabi, Okaidi, Cache Cache, Jennyfer, Zara, Bershka, Venca) alongside German and US accounts, and US customs filings record shipments since 2007 through Newark and Charleston. Quoted lead times are 5–7 weeks for first orders and 2–5 weeks for repeats.
