Founded in 1984, Baykar Tekstil is an İstanbul manufacturer of underwear, tracksuits and pyjamas selling under its own BAYKAR brand, with a product range the company puts at nearly 1,500 models across women's, men's, girls' and boys' innerwear. It names two of its own plants — the Merkez Fabrika at Bolluca/Arnavutköy and a Şube Fabrika in Bağcılar — and describes production in facilities at three points in Turkey, covering fabric selection, design, sewing and packaging. Wholesale is handled from three company stores in the Mahmutpaşa and Laleli districts of İstanbul.
