Berlac AG

Berlac AG is a Swiss manufacturer of special and effect coatings, lacquers and industrial printing inks, founded in 1928 by Kurt Berger in St. Gallen (BERger + LACquers) and based at Allmendweg 39, CH-4450 Sissach, canton Basel-Landschaft since 1932. Registered in the Swiss commercial register as UID CHE-102.260.989 (Aktiengesellschaft, entered 08.03.1932, share capital CHF 250,000, status active). It formulates and produces coating systems for plastic, chrome-plated, metallised, carbon-fibre, metal and glass substrates - including Berlacryl acrylic/PUR ranges, Berluran 1K PUR stoving enamels, Berlapoxy 2K epoxies, Berlasoft soft-touch clear coats, BerlaGuard antimicrobial 2K PUR, BerlaCare medical-device coatings, Monocure and Dual Cure UV clear coats, waterborne 2K PUR Hydro topcoats, Reflection chrome-free chrome-look systems, Paint-over-Chrome, Basco Carbon Coatings, pigment preparations, BascoPrint/BerlaPrint printing inks and BASCO roadmarking materials. End markets are automotive interior/exterior, medical technology, watches and jewellery, sports and recreation, and switches and fittings. It positions itself as a development partner for niche solutions and produces very small quantities and small series. Quality management is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015. Berlac AG is the lead company of the Berlac Group and merged with Basler Lacke AG under the Berlac AG name in 2024.
