Bilsar Tekstil Sanayi ve Dış Ticaret A.Ş. has made shirts in İstanbul since 1947 and describes its Çorum Organized Industrial Zone plant as the largest single-roof shirt production facility in Turkey — a 40,000 m² site with 15,000 m² enclosed, employing over 1,000 people across Çorum and the İstanbul head office in the Bilsar Building on Meşrutiyet Caddesi, Beyoğlu. Output is around three million shirts a year, roughly 90% of it exported. The business is full-package rather than pure CMT: an in-house design studio prepares quarterly men's and women's collections spanning smart, casual, denim and blouse styles, with fabric libraries, pattern and colour choice and finishing options, and uses CLO 3D simulation so a client can approve a product from a single physical sample. Manufacturing is run against GOTS, OCS, BCI, GRS and RCS programmes, and a Bureau Veritas European Flax / Masters of FLAX FIBRE certificate covers weaving and dyeing/printing/finishing scope. Alongside contract production Bilsar runs its own label BİL'S, launched in 2000 for elevated essential wear made in its İstanbul facility and operating between İstanbul and London, and sponsors BİLSART, a non-profit video-art venue.
