BİRGİ (Birgi Birleşik Giyim İhracatçıları Dış Ticaret A.Ş.) is an İstanbul-based foreign trade capital company (Dış Ticaret Sermaye Şirketi) that exports knitwear and ready-to-wear apparel on behalf of its shareholder manufacturers rather than producing garments itself. Established as a sectoral foreign trade company (SDŞ) in 2003, it moved to capital foreign trade company status on 2 January 2004, and roughly 74% of its shareholding is made up of knitted textile and apparel manufacturers. It reports USD 330 million of exports in 2025 against a USD 400 million target for 2026, and supports its partner firms with low-cost export financing, VAT-refund (KDV alacağı) payments and export, financial-regulation and technical consultancy.
