Cross Tekstil Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. is the foreign-trade (dış ticaret) arm of Turkey's Şık Makas denim group, set up in 1997 in Bağcılar, İstanbul to run the group's export operations and to carry the Cross brand. It operates the Cross Tasarım Merkezi, a 1,580 m² design centre opened in 2017 staffed by 57 people of whom 29 are designers, alongside the Red Cast Workshop and The Art of Denim Studio. Denim garment production itself sits with sister companies Şık Makas Giyim Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş. (Çorlu and Tokat plants) and Crs Denim Garments Egypt, not with this entity.
