About
Doğan Çorap was founded in 1954 as a small workshop in İstanbul by Bekir Özdoğancı and grew from contract knitting into a branded sock manufacturer and exporter. Since 2003 it has operated from a 5,500 m² closed facility in the İkitelli Organize Sanayi Bölgesi sock-makers' estate (Çorapçılar Sitesi) in Başakşehir. The company states an annual capacity of about 22 million pairs and roughly US$10 million of annual exports, working on an OEM and private-label basis. Its declared export markets are Germany, England, Austria, the Netherlands, France, Italy and the Czech Republic.
