About
ERAK is a denim manufacturer and development centre founded in 1984 by Sait Akarlılar, producing blue jeans and non-denim woven apparel at a 30,000 m² factory built on a 75,000 m² site in Çerkezköy, Tekirdağ, about an hour from Istanbul. The integrated plant runs cutting, sewing, washing, piece dyeing, laser-technology, quality-control, pressing and packaging departments, with a stated capacity of 8 million garments a year, and holds GOTS, RCS, OCS, regenagri, ISO 9001 and ISO 27001 certificates. It is the principal manufacturer for Mavi Jeans — a separate, BIST-listed company — and also produces for other international brands.
