TAYPA is an İstanbul-based denim and non-denim apparel manufacturer whose story began in 1977 when founder Mesut Toprak started trading fabric; the group's companies were consolidated under the TAYPA roof in the early 2000s. Management, purchasing, design, marketing and finance sit at the Büyükçekmece/Beylikdüzü head office, garment making runs at the Silivri and Bolu factories and washing at the Ergene plant, which since 2015 has housed a 1,000 m² R&D department. The group runs a monthly capacity of 800,000 pieces in its Turkey operation, works roughly 75,000 m² of covered area with close to 3,000 staff, exports 85% of its output to leading global brands and is listed among Turkey's İSO 500 largest industrial enterprises.
