HKRITA is a Hong Kong applied research institute for textiles and apparel, established in 2006 with HKSAR Innovation and Technology Commission funding and hosted by The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. It develops and transfers textile, apparel, recycling, performance-wear and smart-manufacturing technologies through licensing, consultation, pilot plants and industry partnerships rather than conventional bulk garment manufacturing.
