Y PLUS by Yakup Biçer is an Istanbul-based avant-garde, genderless ready-to-wear label founded in 2019 by designer Yakup Biçer, who has some three decades of experience in the Turkish fashion industry. The brand debuted with its 'Pehlivan' collection — inspired by traditional Kırkpınar oil wrestlers — at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Istanbul in October 2019 and made its international debut at London Fashion Week in February 2020. Its design language centres on sophisticated, comfortable and unexpected layering worn regardless of gender.
