YÜKSEL GRUP entered the textile sector in 1983 under its late founder Osman Yüksel, starting in embroidery (nakış), moving into women's ready-to-wear production in 1995 and beginning exports in 2000. The Merter (Güngören, İstanbul) firm runs in-house design, modelhane (pattern), cutting, sewing and print/embroidery/stone-accessory departments with 124 staff and a stated monthly capacity of 50,000 pieces, producing its own labels Womania, Decolte and YXL Collection for women and AJ81 for men.
